أُولَٰئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
أُولَٰئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
"Those are upon guidance
from their Lord,
and it is those
who are the successful."
(Quran 2:5)

True success is linked to having guidance from our Lord. May Allah guide you and make you successful!
سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
"..it is the same to them
whether you warn them
or do not warn them,
they will not believe."
(Quran, 2:6)

Don't be someone whom warning doesn't have any effect upon! When given a correct warning, pay attention and change!
فَاتَّقُوا النَّارَ الَّتِي وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ
فَاتَّقُوا النَّارَ الَّتِي وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ
"...then fear the Fire,
whose fuel is men and stones"
(Quran 2:24)

Let us protect ourselves from Allah's displeasure and hellfire!
كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَكُنتُمْ أَمْوَاتًا فَأَحْيَاكُمْ
كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَكُنتُمْ أَمْوَاتًا فَأَحْيَاكُمْ
"How can you disbelieve in Allah
when you were lifeless
then He brought you to life."
(Quran 2:28)

Like that, may Allah enliven our hearts through His remembrance and the noble Quran.
قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَا إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا
قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَا إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا
They said, "Exalted are You!
we have no knowledge
except what
You have taught us."
(Quran, 2:32)

Seek useful knowledge and never be arrogant about your knowledge.
وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا الْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا الْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
"And do not mix
the truth with falsehood
or conceal the truth
while you know [it]."
(Quran 2:42)

Reflection: The fear of people leads to many ills! Be fearless of all but Allah.
فَأَنجَيْنَاكُمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَأَنتُمْ تَنظُرُونَ
فَأَنجَيْنَاكُمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَأَنتُمْ تَنظُرُونَ
"So We saved you
and drowned the people of Pharaoh
while you were looking on."
(Quran, 2:50)

Reflection: Recall the time when Allah rescued you, and saved you from distress, so fix your life and correct your actions.
فَأَنزَلْنَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا رِجْزًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ
فَأَنزَلْنَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا رِجْزًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ
"...so We sent down upon
those who wronged
a punishment from the sky
because they were defiantly disobeying."
(Quran, 2:59)

Reflection: Be mindful of Allah and obey His instructions!
فَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ لَكُنتُم مِّنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
فَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ لَكُنتُم مِّنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
"If not for the favor of Allāh
upon you and His mercy,
you would have been
among the losers."
(Quran, 2:64)

"And [recall] when you [Israelites]
slew a man and you started
putting the blame for it on one another,
while Allāh was to bring out
that which you were concealing."

Reflection: Be mindful of Allah for He can bring the hidden to light.
And [recall] when We took
the covenant from the Children of Israel,
"Do not worship except Allāh;
and to parents do good..."

Be extremely good to parents.
أَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِبَعْضِ الْكِتَابِ وَتَكْفُرُونَ بِبَعْضٍ

"So do you believe
in part of the Scripture

Reflection: Follow Allah’s orders in totality.
...Say, “How evil is what
your ˹so-called˺ belief
prompts you to do,
if you should ˹really˺
be believers.

Reflection: True faith guides ones to the best of conduct.
"Whoever is an enemy to Allāh
and His angels
and His messengers
and Gabriel and Michael -
then indeed, Allāh is an enemy
to the disbelievers."

Reflection: Do not show enmity to Allah’s pious friends, lest Allah does war with you!
But Allāh selects for His mercy
whom He wills, and Allāh is
the possessor of great bounty.

Do not be jealous of Allah's blessing He gave to whoever He wished.
"Yes, [on the contrary],
whosoever submits his face to Allah,
and is good in deeds,
will have his reward with his Lord,
and there shall be no fear on them,
nor shall they grieve. "
(Al-Baqarah: 112)

They say, "Allāh has taken a son."
Exalted is He!1

All are devoutly obedient to Him.

Let us be also devoutly obedient to Him.
And We charged Ibrahim and Ismaeel:
"Purify My House
for those who circle [it] and
those who are staying [there] for worship
and those who bow
and prostrate [in prayer]."

Reflection: Keep clean. Bow & prostrate in prayer.
And [mention] when Ibrahim
was raising the foundations of the House
and [with him] Ismaeel, [saying],
"Our Lord, accept [this] from us.
Indeed, You are the Hearing,
the Knowing."
(Quran, 2:127)

Reflection: Pray for the acceptance of your good deed!
They say, "Be Jews or Christians
[so] you will be guided."
Say, "Rather, [we follow]
the religion of Ibrahim,
inclining toward truth,
and he was not
of the polytheists."
(Quran. 2:135)
